UPDATED

"2nd Time Around"

As a lot of you already know and for those of you who don't know, back in 2004 Rhett attempted to break the Wall of Death endurance record, in the Guinness Book of World Records, and failed.

We were in Los Vegas, NV, at Henderson HD, during his last attempt. There are many factors that play in this attempt, and unfortunately on this day, luck wasn't on our side. It was about 100 degrees outside and on cement "which is like riding a ridgid," and after 3 hours 36 minutes, Rhetts body completely cramped and he passed out, resulting in a minor crash and hurt pride.

But for those of you that know Rhett, he is not one to give up and he is known for his numerous comebacks and beating the odds, over and over again.

A guy in Germany on a Yamaha set the record in 1987. He rode for 7 hours and 13 seconds, without coming down. This is equivalent to 12,000 laps, of riding around inside without coming down.

On Wednesday, June 11th, 2008, Rhett will make his second attempt at the record. This attempt will take place at Roeder HD, in Sandusty O.H. during Ohio Bikeweek. He will be riding a 2007 Buell Blast, Sponsored by Rorder HD. Rhetts focused to not just break the record but to crush it, stating he will come down, until the bike shuts off or he crashes. A lot of you are wondering, about fuel Rhett successfully refueled during his last attempt, while riding. We passed him a Gatorade bottle, filled with gas, and he squeezed it in during his ride. We have learned quite a few lessons from his last attempt and are taking major preparations to "get the gold."

As you can probably imagine, the cost to put this event on is outrageous, so like any athletic attempt, we are drawing up sponsorship, for Rhett. Sponsorship of all amounts is greatly appreciated! The record is 12,000 laps and you can sponsor him for as little as 1 cent per lap. Which in the long run will comes to $120.00 or you can make a one-time donation of any amount, to show your support to this unique event.

All sponsors will receive an autographed photo, personally signed to you and a certificate, stating, you as a sponsor of the Rhett Rotten Guinness attempt.

You can pay one of two ways. Please fill out the form below and select the method of payment once the attempt is completed, you will receive an email and pre-stamped envelope in the mail with the amount due. We thank you very much for your support and hope to see you there!
