impersonates a side-ways hamster on Red Bull
"I'm
a motorcycle-racing pioneer," boast Rhett Rotten, a two
wheeled speed freak out of Mesa, AZ. " I can ride like
no one's business."
What Rotten lacks in humility,
he makes up in cajones, getting horizontal like a sorority
sister while reaching breakneck speeds on a decrepit, doughnut-shaped,
wooden racetrack turned on it's side. He's dubbed his act
the Wall of Death.
"One time, a cop clocked
me at 105 mph with his radar gun," he says. "And
when I lived in Florida, some astronauts came by and said
I was pulling 4 G's.
Rotten's
no-pads policy has made him an E.R. regular. "I've broken
all my stuff up," he says. "I ensure more scrapes
and scars then an NHL goalie." Yeah,
but you perform gravity-defying suicide stunts; goalies wear
awesome masks. You lose, fella.
